Rough Footage 19/2000 (Soulchild Remix)
- After deciding on an idea for the music video Beth and I drew up a rough story board for the first minute or so of the track.
- We then decided on a location, which will be at Beth's house for the first scene
- These scenes we have shot so far and have edited them together roughly to the soundtrack
- Following these scenes we need to draw up a story board for the street scenes
- We need to film rough footage for the street scenes as well
- Again we need to draw up a story board for the car and 'Rave' scenes
- These may not be achievable to film with rough footage
- However we will need to do some location scouting in order to decide on a location for the 'Rave'
- Then we will visit the location again at a correct time of day and do some test shots to establish any problems we may face before beginning our music video shoot.
useful as a test; highlights the importance of giving strong, clear direction on lip-synching, and multiple takes if need be - plus rehearsals?
